Delete your Liftava account

You can delete your Liftava account and everything in it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Liftava and go to Profile.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm with your password. An account made with Google that has no password confirms with its Google account.

Your account and its data are erased from our servers right away, and the app signs out and clears the data it kept on your phone.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in:

  • Forgot your password? Install the app, tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen, enter the 6-digit code we email you, then delete your account as above.
  • Or ask us by email. Write to support@liftava.com from the email address of your Liftava account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days, usually within a few days.

What is deleted

Everything linked to your account: your profile (name, email, bodyweight, and the Google account you sign in with), all workouts with their exercises, sets and notes, training plans, custom exercises, imports, XP, levels, records, quests and achievements, friendships, invites and notifications, subscription status, and all sign-in sessions.

What remains for a limited time

  • Backups. Encrypted database backups may still contain your data for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically. They are used only to restore the service after a failure.
  • Error reports linked to your random account ID expire within 90 days.
  • Copies your friends made. A training plan a friend copied from you became their own plan and stays in their account.
  • Purchases. Google Play keeps its records of your purchases under its own policies.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Liftava Pro subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Liftava → Cancel.

Garmin watch app

The Liftava watch app stores no data. To remove it, uninstall it from your watch or in the Garmin Connect IQ app.

Deleting only some data

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data: in the app you can delete individual workouts and plans, edit or delete custom exercises, remove your bodyweight in your profile, and remove friends. For anything else, write to support@liftava.com.
