How to do it
- Sit on the floor with your knees bent, holding a weight plate in front of your chest.
- Lean back slightly with a straight back and lift your feet off the floor if you can.
- Rotate your torso to bring the plate beside one hip, then twist to the other side.
- Turn through your ribs and shoulders, not just your arms, and don't let your back round.
Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
