How to do it
- Lie on your side next to a bench, propped on your forearm with your elbow under your shoulder.
- Rest the inside of your top foot on the bench, or your knee to make it easier, and slide your bottom leg under the bench.
- Lift your hips until your body is straight and bring your bottom leg up to meet the bench, keeping your hips stacked.
- Lower your hips and bottom leg under control, then switch sides once that side is done.
Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
