How to do it

  1. Stand at the machine with your thigh against the pad, knee in line with the pivot, and the roller behind your ankle.
  2. Hold the handles and keep your standing leg slightly bent.
  3. Curl your heel toward your glutes without letting your hips twist or your lower back arch.
  4. Lower slowly until your leg is almost straight, then switch sides.

Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
