How to do it

  1. Set the assistance on the machine: the heavier the counterweight, the more it lifts you.
  2. Grip the dip handles and kneel or stand on the platform with your arms straight.
  3. Keep your torso upright and elbows tucked as you lower until your elbows are bent to about 90°.
  4. Press back up to straight arms smoothly, without bouncing at the bottom.

Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
