How to do it
- Set your hands on parallel bars, dip bars or parallettes, or flat on the floor beside your hips.
- Straighten your arms, press your shoulders down away from your ears and lift yourself up.
- Raise your straight legs in front of you to hip height and hold, toes pointed.
- Keep your arms locked and breathe steadily; tuck your knees in if you can't hold your legs straight.
Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
