How to do it

  1. Hang a plate from a dip belt or hold a dumbbell between your feet, then press up on the bars.
  2. Keep your torso upright, your elbows tucked and your shoulders pulled down.
  3. Lower yourself until your elbows are bent to about 90°, then press back up to straight arms.
  4. Descend slowly so the weight doesn't swing, and stop before your shoulders roll forward.

Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
