How to do it
- Set a bench to a 30-45° incline and lie face down with your chest on the pad.
- Let the dumbbells hang straight down from your shoulders, palms facing each other.
- Row the dumbbells up to your sides, driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades.
- Lower them slowly until your arms are straight.
- Keep your chest on the pad; lifting it to heave the weight takes the work away from your back.
Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
