How to do it
- Hold the bar with an underhand grip about shoulder-width apart, feet hip-width apart.
- Hinge at the hips with soft knees until your torso is at about 45°, arms hanging straight.
- Row the bar to your lower stomach, driving your elbows back close to your sides.
- Lower the bar under control until your arms are straight again.
- Keep your core braced, your back flat and your torso angle fixed; drive with your elbows instead of curling the bar up.
Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
