How to do it

  1. Attach a V-handle to the low pulley and sit with your feet on the platform and knees slightly bent.
  2. Grab the handle with your palms facing each other and sit tall with your arms straight, chest up, and back neutral.
  3. Pull the handle to your upper stomach, keeping your elbows close to your sides.
  4. Squeeze your shoulder blades together, then extend your arms slowly and let your shoulders reach forward for a stretch.
  5. Keep your torso nearly upright; don't rock back and forth to move the weight.

Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
