How to do it
- Attach weight with a dip belt, or hold a dumbbell between your feet.
- Hang from the bar with an underhand grip about shoulder-width apart.
- Pull your shoulders down, then pull until your chin clears the bar, driving your elbows toward your ribs.
- Lower yourself under control to a full hang.
- Keep the weight from swinging, and only add load while you can still do full, strict reps.
Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
