How to do it
- Attach a straight bar to the low pulley and sit with your feet on the platform, knees slightly bent.
- Grab the bar underhand, palms up, at about shoulder width, and sit tall with your arms straight and back neutral.
- Row the bar to your lower stomach, driving your elbows back close to your sides.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together, then extend your arms slowly and let your shoulders reach forward for a stretch.
- Keep your torso still and upright; pull with your elbows instead of curling the bar or leaning back.
Warm up first and pick a weight you can control through the whole movement. Stop if something hurts.
